12th Annual Habitat Hero Workshop: Saturday, February 7th, 2026
The 12th Annual Habitat Hero Workshop a success!
Highlights included speakers Kevin Philip Williams & Michael Guidi presenting “Shrouded in Light: Naturalistic Planting Inspired by Wild Shrublands“, Stephen Hornbeck, Nursery Manager at High Plains Environmental Center (HPEC) in Loveland Colorado, and Isaiah Smith, Horticulture & Operations Supervisor at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens.
Breakout Sessions included help with garden design (Isaiah Smith); Winter Sowing (Michelle Bohanan); Transplanting winter sown seedlings; Board of Public Utilities Water Conservation (Noah Dayton), Audubon Rockies (Amanda Martinez); and Cheyenne Audubon’s pollinator plants in Lions Park (Vicki Herren).
