Cheyenne has three Habitat Hero Gardens, two planted in 2018 and one in 2020! One is located at the Board of Public Utilities (2416 Snyder Avenue), the second at the Cheyenne Botanic Garden, near the entrance (between the rose garden and the parking lot), and the third at the Laramie County Public Library. September 2018 – only months after planting the BOPU garden was enjoyed by butterflies of all types. Favs include Butterfly Bush “Miss Ruby” and “New England Pink” Aster. More than 100 butterflies were seen on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the BOPU Habitat Hero Garden on Snyder Ave.
