Elizabeth Wommack, Ph.D. at the University of Wyoming Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center, invites us all to participate in Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 26th, through service opportunities happening around the state.

From the Wyo Parks website: Wyoming State Parks and Historic Sites will host volunteer projects throughout September, including cleanup efforts, trail maintenance, invasive species removal, habitat improvements, and preservation projects. In recognition of National Public Lands Day, day-use and entrance fees will also be waived at all Wyoming state parks and historic sites on Sept. 26.

Close to home, join others in a service project at Curt Gowdy State Park for bird box cleaning and winterization.
