Migration at Peak! Enjoy Birding Today!

Our yard had a very special visitor today – a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. This is the first one that I’ve seen in our yard, although they have been identified in Cheyenne in previous years. He was curious about our feeder and checked out our orange slices too.

A listing of all birds from the Cheyenne Big Day (Saturday, May 16th) will be included in the June version of “Flyer”, but reports are that yesterday was a great day for birding.

If you love birding, now is the time to get out and enjoy. Warblers abound at many of our local parks and birding sites. Remember that our new birding roadmap has prime locations for families and individuals to enjoy.
