The Cheyenne-High Plains Audubon Team will be visiting Goshen and Platte Counties on April 24th and 25th! We invite you to join us!
One of the many programs that our Chapter include are Birding Adventure Packs. These are backpacks that are filled with everything that you need to “bird”, including one pair of adult binoculars and two pair of youth binoculars. We also include pamphlets, books, and more.
All that YOU need to do is to go to your local library to check them out! Then get out there with your family and enjoy birds and pollinators.
- We will be at the Goshen County Library from 10:00 – noon on Friday, April 24th.
- We will be at the Guernsey Branch Library from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25th.
We will talk about how to use binoculars, how to use the information in the backpacks, and where to bird in your area! Goshen County and Platte County have lovely places for families to hike and enjoy nature. May and June are the best months to enjoy birds! We hope to see you there!
Note: Other libraries that have Adventure Packs include Burns, Pine Bluffs, and Cheyenne. To learn more, check out Adventure Backpacks! on our website.
