AARP Virtual Birding Series Underway!

Join AARP and Audubon Rockies for their virtual series “For the Birds from Backyards to Binoculars” – now underway!

Zach Hutchinson, Coordinator for Community Science for Audubon Rockies, presents this fascinating series for beginning and intermediate birders.  The series started in late March with Birding Trivia and will continue throughout the month of April, getting a new birder ready in time to enjoy migration season.

You don’t have to be a member of AARP to access these presentations.  They are free and open to the general public, starting on March 27th with new presentations on April 3, April 10, April 17, and April 24th.  While some of the information presented is specific to Wyoming bird identification, concepts shared are helpful no matter where you live.

To sign up for remaining events, visit events.aarp.org/event/forthebirds/.  Sessions are recorded and available on the AARP website at the following link: https://www.aarp.org/states/wyoming/for-the-birds-from-backyards-to-binoculars.html.

The series will include an in-person birding opportunity in three communities: Cheyenne, Laramie, and Sheridan.  Questions?  Contact us at cheyenneaudubon@gmail.com and Happy Birding everyone!
